Ellucian, the leading provider of software and services built to power higher education, announced that the University of South Florida Division of Advancement has selected Ellucian CRM Advance as its new cloud-based higher education advancement solution to help strengthen and extend engagement with alumni and supporters.
To achieve its goal of promoting student success, research, and other strategic priorities by philanthropically supporting the University of South Florida System, the USF Division of Advancement used its own instance of Ellucian Banner® Advancement to connect with donors, advocate for the university, and manage the university’s endowment. Having recently completed a complex and very successful $1 billion capital campaign, the USF Division of Advancement began looking for a new solution focused solely on advancement that would enable development officers to be even more informed about operations and efficiency and confident that they’re maximizing outcomes and measuring success against their goals for future campaigns. The division also wanted to gain greater confidence in data and decisions and ensure communication and complex information sharing between and among the various units within the USF Division of Advancement such as the USF Alumni Association, WUSF radio station, and the athletics department.
“We wanted to integrate our systems and data into a dedicated and streamlined advancement solution while maintaining stringent security standards,” said Susan Vandermast, Assistant Vice President for Advancement Operations at USF Division of Advancement. “We closely evaluated the advancement software available to the market today and found that Ellucian CRM Advance easily integrates with disparate university systems and runs powerful reports using complex data across those systems so that we can focus on strategic fundraising initiatives.”
CRM Advance will provide the division with built-in philanthropy best practices, mobile access to advancement technology that empowers end-users, greater automation, and enhanced business continuity. These additional capabilities will intrinsically grow the business capacity of the USF Division of Advancement by giving it the tools to develop increasingly targeted campaigns and personalized experiences for supporters––ultimately delivering relevant information that encourages both engagement and donations. Seamless, cloud-based delivery of CRM Advance allows for integration with existing and new systems, scalability, and ability for the USF Division of Advancement to easily adopt new features as they become available.
